Our enthusiasm and dedication drive us to provide exceptional auto repair services to Davis, Lake Summerset, and the neighboring towns. Great auto repair is now close to home and convenient. Bringing energy and passion, Gator is the fearless leader of Hometown Motors. He is the driving force behind growing this small town shop as he handpicks and coaches the right individuals to do the job.

Meet David, our service manager here at HTM Davis. David is not only a great service manager but is also an ASE certified technician. This is a winning combo in our book! He is passionate about helping customers understand their cars and the repair process.

Tom is reliable and precise. He loves to laugh and tease, and works hard. He is our tire expert and always is quick to give great advice on tires. You’ll also see Tom helping out at our Pearl City location.

Jake knows auto mechanics inside and out. He always has a great attitude and a high attention to detail, that makes him excellent at everything he does! He’s also a huge Formula 1 fan and European car guru.

David is AWESOME!! he helps me through my car issues and puts me at ease with my paranoia whenever something goes wrong or when my car makes a funny sounds that I never heard before. Tech does a wonderful job as he is educated with German vehicles.

My AC wasn’t working and David got my vehicle in the next day! Hometown motors is exactly what I was looking for, a local small business. I’m a Davis resident and I can’t think of anything better than giving my business to them. They took great care of my aging car and will continue to help me do all the things I need to keep driving this car for as long as I can. Dave broke things down and explained them in a way that made a lot of sense and honestly better than anyone else I’ve ever spoken to about my car. I won’t go anywhere else now that I found them. Hometown Motors is amazing. We come into town once or twice a year and they are the go to for our 2011 Toyota Sienna. This last appointment they changed our transmission fluid, rebuilt the rear brakes and replaced the batteries on out TPS. All done in a timely fashion, and very reasonably priced. Thank you Hometown Motors for taking care of our vehicle!

I got in touch with Hometown to have my brakes checked out as I was concerned about them. The team was able to get me in the same day for an inspection. The mechanic, Jake was very knowledgeable and able to show me what was going on. I was able to schedule an appointment within the week and the work does well done and in a timely matter. Dave was great covering warranties and to the point. Driving off the lot was a great feeling as my brakes felt amazing. Would recommend the Davis Hometown to friends and family hands down!

These guys are top notch! Everyone is kind, professional and helpful. I purchased a new set of tires and replaced a wiper. The price was similar to a Walmart quote but I got better tires and service! I prefer to spend money locally with small businesses. I would def recommend Hometown Motors in Davis! Check them out!

I have finally found the shop, that I can take my car to and trust that it is in good hands. I messaged Hometown Motors about my daughter needing front brakes. I received a message back, within minutes. With what their diagnosis could be and an estimate. Dropped my daughters car off within an hour after. David the service manager, was very courteous and thorough. No run arounds here. They got to the issue, sent their pictures and findings to me and had my daughters car done by the following afternoon. Reasonable. Prompt. Explained everything. And had it done when they said they would. Small town shop will be my only go to from now on.

I thought I'd give this business a try since it is new to the area. Great choice, as they are amazing. David took the time to understand my vehicle needs and also my budget. After the initial inspection...which I love since it gives me access to an online printout...he worked with me to get both vehicles winter ready. The mechanic did a wonderful job and got both my 15 year old vehicles running better than they have in years. Highly recommend giving this local business a try.

Very nice small town auto repair shop! They communicate very well through texts and calls. They send pictures with descriptions of all the repairs needed rated on a system of how emergent the fixes are. They have a convenient drop box for keys to leave the car overnight. Would recommend.
